Guide to uninstall stock apps from Android smartphones without rooting

How to uninstall stock apps from Android smartphones without rooting
Android smartphone manufacturers love to pre-install their own set of apps on their smartphones. Commonly known as bloatware, most of them are deemed useless by users and consume tons of memory on the smartphone and there’s no way to uninstall it without rooting the smartphone. Although, there’s always an option to disable them from Settings, still keep occupying some storage space on the smartphone.

So, if you are looking to uninstall the pre-installed apps that you don’t use at all, here are a few ways you can try.  Do note that these are workarounds and might not work for all smartphones.
Method 1: Using smartphone Settings The most basic way to uninstall the app is by using the Settings of the phone. Simply head to Settings Apps or Applications Application Manager Look for the app and try uninstalling it.

If you only see the Disable option here, move to method 2.
 Method 2: Debloater software

Debloater is a Windows software that scans for all the stock apps on the phone and tries to uninstall them.
To do this, first, enable the Developer Options from Settings-About Phone Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable it.
After enabling it, open Developer option and turn on USB Debugging.
  • Now, download any Debloater tool on Windows PC and install it
  • Once installed, open the software and connect your phone using the USB cable to the PC
  • Wait for it to detect the connected Android smartphone
  • Once it is detected, click on Read Phone Packages
  • It will then show you all the apps installed on the phone with blocked and not blocked message
  • Select the app you want to uninstall and then click on the Apply button to remove it from your
  • smartphone. Repeat the step to remove more apps from your phone.

This is a reversible process, you can reconnect your phone and install back the deleted apps on your phone.
